These terms & conditions set out below govern all sales/service transactions provided between any customer (you) and Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd. (us)
Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd is a registered company in England No: 5892497.
Registered address, 2nd Floor, Hygia House, 66 College Road Harrow Middlesex HA1 1BE.
No variations of these terms & conditions shall be deemed valid unless agreed in writing by a director of Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd.
Other Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd employee's, have no authority to agree any additional or conflicting terms or conditions with you.
Orders
By placing an order with Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd the customer is deemed to have acknowledged these terms & conditions and agrees to be fully bound by them.
Prices
We reserve the right to change or alter prices as we see necessary without prior notice to the customer.
Engraving Instructions
Once received in writing from you, all engraving instructions/orders shall be deemed final & we reserve the right to apply additional charges for amendments. alterations or additions to engraving instructions once received. Any claims for incorrect/missing engravings must be supported by original instruction documentation. We shall not be held liable for any losses or claims for compensation from incorrect or missing engraving however so caused.
Payment terms
Full & final payment must be received in the form of cleared funds before any goods/services are despatched unless credit terms are agreed in writing prior to order.
All goods/services provided remain the property of Hemel Trophies & Jewellers until paid for in full. To request a credit account please contact us for a credit application form. Credit account payments are due in full at the end of the month following invoice unless agreed in writing by an acting director.
Overdue Accounts & returned payments
For accounts that fall overdue, we reserves the right to,
A. cancel or suspend all current orders.
B. Charge interest on overdue amounts @ 4.5% per/month above the Bank of England base rate.
C. Employ third parties for collection of any monies/payments owed to Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd.
D. Apply additional charges incurred through actions deemed necessary to recover funds stated in clause C above.
E. Apply charges of £45.00 for payments returned to us from our bankers as a result of uncleared funds, incorrectly dated or signed cheques.
F. Open court proceedings to recover our losses.
Descriptions, sizes
Whilst we endeavour to make every effort to ensure accuracy all product sizes & descriptions are to be considered approximate. We reserve the right to alter product price & specification without prior notice.
Claims for damaged or missing goods.
Claims for damaged or missing goods must be made within 7 working days of received orders. Defective or incorrect goods must be returned to us within 10 days from date of receipt for any claims for damages/replacements to be considered. Items returned to us that have been ordered by you and despatched or collected and received by you in good condition shall carry a "restocking charge of 25% goods) or be fully chargeable to you the customer in the case of personalised or engraved goods. .
Presentation Deadlines
Whilst we meet our customer delivery/presentation dates in over 99.5% of orders, sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control this is not possible.
Under no circumstances Hemel Trophies & Jewellers Ltd or any of it’s associated companies shall be held liable for any losses, cost’s or arrangements made as a result of a request for orders. We advise you request a delivery/collection date at least 7 working days in advance of your anticipated presentation date and confirm orders in writing at least 28 days in advance of your presentation date.
Out of Stock items & back orders. If an item you have ordered is found to be "currently out of stock" or "no longer available" we will endeavour to contact you to advise accordingly. We reserve the right either substitute the product/products for a similar like for like priced option or, send "currently out of stock" items at a later date. We always try to contact you to advise of this or of any other incurring problems at the earliest possible time and shall not be held liable for any missing or substituted items should you be Non-contactable by the methods you have advised.
When the supply of back orders or out of stock items do materialise for despatch or collection, additional carriage charges will apply unless otherwise agreed by us. Any of the above terms & conditions do not effect your statutory rights. These terms & conditions shall be governed in accordance with English law.
